Who will be the team to beat in 2008-09 NHL Season?

It's a tough sport - be prepared!
"You lack the toughness to compete in the hockey league.
-  you'll be fighting Bruno here until you're ready."

Organizational Philosophy and Design:

North Country Youth Hockey's philosophy is to strive to provide each and every interested child with the most comprehensive and diversified youth hockey program available, regardless of recreational or competitive level.

The 2008-09 season will continue to include our IP (Pond Hockey) Program. Last year was the second year for this program.  The IP Program was received with great success. Again this year, our program is for players and parents that do not want to travel or play in competitive games.

We believe the most important aspect of each child's youth hockey experience is for them to have fun while developing physical and emotional skills that will serve them in life.  We emphasize the importance of fair-play, sportsmanship, discipline and most importantly, fun as a positive self-image is developed.

NCYH is a volunteer organization that is run by a Board of Directors, elected annually by its members.  The Board consist of four officers and eight board members.  We are a registered member of USA Hockey and the New York State Amateur Hockey Association.  We are governed by their rules and regulations concerning competition and equipment.

We offer a program for the following levels:

IP Program (Ages 4-7 & 8-14)

Mini Mites & Mites (Age 8 or Under)

Squirts (Age 10 or Under)

Pee Wees (Age 12 or Under)

Bantams (Age 14 or Under)

Midgets (Midget 18 or Under)

We would like to thank USA Hockey for the use of their background that you see on our homepage!
